This service is initiated when a residence visa holder wishes to transfer his/her residence visa to a new passport.

Steps

  • Log in to our customer portal https://portal.meydanfz.ae Located on our website or call us on 800 FZ1 (800 391) to help you log into your account.

  • Submit the required documents and complete the payment.

  • Receive a timeline.

  • Receive a copy of an electronic residence visa transfer confirmation via email.

  • Old passport (if applicable)
  • New passport
  • Police report (for lost passport)

  • Passport should be valid during the visa amendment approval.
  • Additional remarks for below nationalities:
    • India – First and last page copy
    • Pakistan – First and second page copy
    • Sri Lanka – First and fourth page copy
    • US – Special comment page copy
    • Nepal – First and last page copy
    • UAE – Family Book & Emirates ID Card copy
