With a trade license for Raising of Poultry, you can engage in a range of activities within the poultry farming industry. This license enables you to breed and raise various types of poultry, such as chickens, capons, ducks, geese, turkeys, and guinea fowls. For example, you can establish a farm where you breed chickens for meat production or turkeys for their eggs.

Furthermore, your trade license allows you to participate in egg production. This means you can operate a facility where hens lay eggs, which can then be collected, sorted, and processed for sale. Exclusions

Your trade license for Raising of Poultry does not cover the production of feathers. Furthermore, it excludes activities related to operating slaughterhouses involved in the killing, dressing, or packaging of various types of meat, including beef, pork, poultry, lamb, rabbit, mutton, camel, and others. Additionally, your license does not permit the production of fresh, chilled, or frozen meat in carcass form, nor does it cover the production of fresh, chilled, or frozen meat in cuts, individual portions, or dried, salted, or smoked meat. Similarly, the production of meat products like sausages falls outside the scope of your license.

Third-Party Approvals – Post License

After obtaining your trade license for the Raising of Poultry from the respective authorities, there is a requirement for additional approval from specific government departments in Dubai. Particularly, you would be required to seek approval from the Agriculture and Irrigation Department and the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment Public Health Department of the Dubai Municipality.

ESR & UBO

Neither UBO nor ESR regulations apply to Poultry Farming in Dubai. UBO stands for Ultimate Beneficial Ownership, which refers to identifying and reporting the individuals who ultimately own or control a business entity, while ESR stands for Economic Substance Regulations, which requires businesses to demonstrate genuine economic activity and substance within the jurisdiction where they operate.

AML

Poultry Farming in Dubai is exempt from Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. AML regulations are implemented to prevent and detect money laundering and the financing of terrorist activities. However, poultry farming does not fall under these regulations.
