House of Marketing began with two best friends, Sneh Harish and Zain Rashaad, and one big idea: to give SMEs more than ads — to give them stories.

Sneh, who had spent years leading marketing for global brands like Marriott and Accor, saw the same gap across the industry. Businesses were investing in campaigns, but they lacked a narrative that connected strategy to storytelling. HOM was created to close that gap, building a consultancy designed for clarity, conviction, and scale from the very start.

To make that vision possible, Sneh and Zain needed a setup that matched their pace — fast, flexible, and hassle-free. That’s why they chose Meydan Free Zone — a partner that matched their urgency and removed the friction from setup.

Because House of Marketing wasn’t here to follow the playbook. It was here to write its own.

The Brand, Business Model and Team

The consultancy is structured around a lean, agile model. Sneh, the Founder, leads strategy and operations, while Zain oversees creative direction and campaigns.

Instead of hiring a large in-house team too soon, they scale flexibly by working with specialists in branding, PR, and events on a project basis.
This keeps HOM fast, efficient, and laser-focused on client impact.

The First 90 Days: From Idea to Operational

HOM’s journey began in July 2024, when Sneh secured the trade license through Meydan Free Zone. But operations truly started in January 2025. Sneh recalls that she ‘liked the name so much she locked it in’ with Meydan Free Zone months before the launch to ensure it was reserved and protected.

HOM registered under Marketing Consultancy at Meydan Free Zone, with activity codes mapped carefully to allow future diversification. “Mapping the business model to the license was straightforward. The Meydan Free Zone team understood what we needed and pointed us in the right direction immediately,” says Sneh. “The Setup Advisor even went a step further and advised on the right activities for House of Marketing.”

Day 0–30

The focus in the first month was credibility. The Meydan Free Zone business centre provided a professional environment for client meetings, while essential tasks like issuing a company stamp were managed seamlessly through the Free Zone’s digital portal. By the end of the month, HOM had already secured its first retainers and projects.

Day 31–60

The second month focused on talent and operations. HOM hired its first employees and, thanks to Meydan Free Zone’s partnerships, opened a bank account seamlessly. “I loved the collaborations at Meydan Free Zone, specifically with banks. Since the team from Emirates NBD was available at Meydan Free Zone, the company bank account process was easily accessible,” Sneh explains.

Day 61–90

By the third month, HOM was already delivering on its vision. Full-blown marketing strategies, brand books, and campaign frameworks were rolled out for clients.

Growth with Meydan Free Zone’s Ecosystem

As Sneh puts it: “Meydan Free Zone made it easy. The process was fast, flexible, and honestly, it let us focus on building the brand instead of drowning in paperwork. (The speed with which Meydan Free Zone got back to me, that too on a Saturday, was impressive.)

That simplicity gave HOM room to grow and Meydan Plus became the backbone of HOM’s setup. mAssist provided easy access to client-ready meeting rooms, equipped with every detail needed for professional presentations. mResidency handled visas and Emirates IDs for the founders and early hires, simplifying compliance and saving time.

Perhaps most importantly, being based in the Meydan Grandstand connected HOM to a network of founders and business owners: “Our third client came directly from a business owner I met at Meydan Free Zone,” Sneh shares. “It’s like having a starter pack for founders — everything you need, including networks, in one place.”

Looking Ahead

In just one year, HOM has grown from a two-founder vision into an established consultancy delivering brand strategies across industries. With the flexibility built into its license, the agency is preparing to expand into PR, events, and training services.

When asked what stood out most, Sneh is clear: “Meydan Plus gave us the freedom to focus on people and brands, while they handled everything else, post our licensing.”

Sneh keeps her advice to other entrepreneurs simple: “Don’t overcomplicate the setup. If you want to move fast, find a partner that clears the path for you. For HOM, that partner has been Meydan Free Zone”.
